Reader Submissions

Success stories, insights, and experiences are always welcome here. If you have something meaningful to share, I am always excited to hear your input. Please follow the guidelines below for submissions. I’m looking forward to hearing from you!

Submission Guidelines

  • Reader submissions should be on-topic for the law of attraction/law of assumption/law of belief/etc.
  • No re-publication. I won’t post articles that have been published anywhere else, online or otherwise.
  • I respectfully decline to publish anything promoting limiting beliefs such as separation, “free will,” etc.
  • No tarot, astrology, numerology, etc. I come from a witchcraft background and find these things fun myself, but any submissions that promote giving away your power to an external anything will simply be declined.
  • It is okay to include a link to your blog or page, but blatant self-promotion will be ignored
  • You may submit up to three articles at a time. Please do not queue any new submissions until at least one of the three has been rejected or published to the website.

Formatting

  • 500-3000 words
  • Paragraph format
  • Proofread for spelling and grammar
  • Source any and all quotes or direct references
  • Photos only accepted if they belong to you or come from a verified stock photo supplier. If using a stock photo, include original link to find online. Photos are subject to approval independently of text.
  • Submit article and any adjoining photographs within the email body, NOT as an attachment
  • (Optional and subject to approval) Include a short bio, photograph, and link to leave on your post.
  • Send submissions via email only to GRIMOIREGIRLBLOG@GMAIL.COM. With the email subject as SUBMISSION – [ARTICLE TITLE]

What to Expect

After receiving your submission, your article will be reviewed for publication. Due to time constraints, please allow up to 4 weeks to receive a response. If 4 weeks have passed and you have not received a response, feel free to send a follow-up message and I will try to get back to you promptly.

If your article is not accepted, I will provide a reason and in some cases may invite you to make any necessary changes and re-submit. Please do not re-submit an article if not invited to do so.

If your article is accepted, I will confirm this with you and provide a tentative publication date. Your article will be proofread for spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc – by submitting an article to Grimoire Girl, you agree to any and all of these minor changes to your submission. For larger changes such as removing a sentence, restructuring paragraphs, etc, you will receive a follow-up email to review and approve these changes prior to publication. When the final draft of the article has been established, your article will be scheduled, and you will receive an official publication date.

Articles submitted to GrimoireGirl.com are not paid, but you may include a biography, photo, and link to where readers can find you. Biographies should be 150 words or less. Photographs and links are subject to approval.
